This is an introductory course on leadership to develop Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) in schools. It is designed to assist district and building level administrators in creating an educational community that meets the needs of all students within the general education classroom. This is the first course of three in a continuum of experiences to promote leadership in the development of LRE. This interactive session will utilize current brain research and educational environment data as administrators analyze and assess current delivery systems.

Basic Level One Autism Training Courses

These courses, offered by the Illinois Autism Training & Technical Assistance Project, are for individuals that live and work with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders including family members, educators, and administrators.
