Anne Hollis, Consultant
Anne first became involved with Project CHOICES in 2006.
At that time she began attending Project CHOICES workshops as a
parent of two young daughters with Down Syndrome. Anne was
looking for guidance on how to better advocate for inclusive
educational opportunities for her children. Armed with
the tools and education gained through Project CHOICES trainings,
Anne worked with her local school district to adapt their preschool
setting to include children of all abilities. Anne officially
joined the Project CHOICES staff in early 2010. Prior to that
time, she served as the 6 Sigma Black Belt at Easter Seals
Peoria-Bloomington. This position gave Anne a great deal of
experience in the areas of data analysis, process improvement,
change management and creating sustainable systems
change. Anne has also attended and facilitated many
workshops and conferences on conflict resolution and
mediation. Anne also worked for Bradley University for 10
years, serving as the Director of Residential Living and
Leadership.
With four young children at home, Anne does not have much free
time! When she does, she enjoys spending time with her
husband watching Glee, The Office, and Modern Family. Anne
loves football , and in the fall spends her weekends rooting for
the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Pittsburgh
Steelers! Anne can be reached by email at
