Bill Peters, Consultant
Bill Peters has been a part-time Project CHOICES consultant
since its inception in 1988. Bill has experience as a special
education teacher and administrator. He was director of the DeKalb
County Special Education Association from 1980 until his retirement
in 2001. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special
Education and a Master of Science degree in Educational
Administration both from Northern Illinois University.
Bill is married and has two adult children who have both pursued
careers in fields providing services to persons with disabilities.
He has a step daughter who works as a medical technician to whom he
is most grateful for giving him the privilege and delight of
helping to provide childcare for two grandchildren. He enjoys golf,
