Project CHOICES Team Boundaries

Project CHOICES Timeline

Our Consultants work in 2 regions of the state (see the Team Boundary Map). We work with Schools/districts who are willing to:

make a long-term commitment to change;

develop a collaborative agreement for improving outcomes for students with disabilities in Illinois.

For information on our fee for service structure, contact info@projectchoices.org

The process identifies desired outcomes that the school/district wants to accomplish:

1.

The school or district completes a "Request for Support to Build Inclusive Schools".

2.

An initial meeting is scheduled between the Project CHOICES team and the school/district team. It is important for the school/district team to include all stakeholders (administrator, teachers, parents/guardians, support personnel).

3.

An IPRT (Inclusive Practices Reflection Tool) is completed with the school/district personnel looking at placement of students, types of services provided, instructional styles, use of resources and other issues.

4.

A CATS (Collaborative Agreement for Technical Support) is completed with timelines to reach outcomes and collect data showing evidence of change.
